Cultural Safari

Overview

Our Head guide, Francis Thomas Kijazi (Chaba) has been a guide over 16 years, and still veery much passionate about his job, but, apart from Wildlife love he has with Tanzania bush, he also has an incredible music talent, he is a Musician/Rapper, and he has been so, for over 20 years. He is a very good example of Best of both worlds, and also a reason why we designed this itinerary for Artists guests who would love to go to the bush but also have a few days in Arusha to see and experience life in the city as a musician from Arusha does. Chaba will take you to the bush and tell you amazing bush stories and then back in Arusha, he will take you to the studio and give you an experience which any artist guest would wish to have outside their contries. The itinerary we have prepared includes Traditional Culture and Wildlife. The family will get to see 3 tribes in the Northern Tanzania which up to this day still live their lives proudly traditional. These are Maasai (Livestock keepers), Hadzabe (Hunters and Gathers), and Datoga (The Blacksmith). The family will get to learn and appreciate the different perspective of life and we make sure that we take our guests to the most authentic families. The Itineraries also have a large portion of wilderness experience. The family will visit 3 amazing parks for wildlife viewing, (Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti). It is a 12 days safari as shown in the coming itinerary. In this itinerary we have designed 8 days in the bush and 4 days in Arusha. In these 8 days, The Artists guests will get to see 3 different tribes, (Hadzabe, Datoga and Maasai) in the bush, to experience their life stories and their original and cultural music too. Also the bush itself Ngorongoro and Serengeti, then the last 4 Days in Arusha, the Artists guests will get to experience studio time, how we produce our music and a chance to experience Urban local music instruments like a Saxophone and Trumpets band, Also Radio and Club time. Then the last day will be a shopping day then Fly out from Kilimanjaro Airport. We advise artists to bring portable recording equipments, since we can record all the traditional songs from the local tribes and use them as samples in the music making.
